Preschool Fun with Boca Beth Helps YOU Introduce Spanish and English with Music and Movement

Wow!  It’s our second mini-lesson posted on YouTube for FREE, and I can’t think of any stay-at-home mom, any preschool teacher, any homeschooling family that wouldn’t just love, love, love this new Boca Beth stuff!  Check out how easy we make it to introduce time to little children along with breakfast, lunch and dinner…….learning Spanish and English will never be as easy as clicking right here!

Below are the lyrics for this fun bilingual song from the Boca Beth Program which is on our second CD titled More Boca Beth / Más Boca Beth available for only $14.99 by clicking here.  This entire CD introduces 150 words and 30 phrases in both languages - Spanish & English - using the methodology that many experts are saying is THE BEST way to introduce a new language to children who are still learning skills in their native language … using a TRUE bilingual format!!!  That is what we do here at Boca Beth!

“What Time Is It?/¿ Qué hora es ?”
(sung to the tune of “Are You Sleeping?”)

(chorus)
What time is it?
¿ Qué hora es ?
I need to know!
¡ Tengo que saber !

It is eight o’clock.
Son las ocho.
Time for breakfast!
¡ Hora de desayunar !

Repeat chorus

It is twelve o’clock.
Son las doce.
Time for lunch!
¡ Hora de almorzar !

Repeat chorus

It is six thirty.
Son las seis y media.
Time for dinner!
¡ Hora de cenar !

And now the suggested circle time / classroom activity to go hand-in-hand with this easy-to-follow Boca Beth bilingual song for children:

This is an echo song. I ask the children if they remember what an echo is. I praise the correct answer person and ask them to be my echo in this fun song about telling time in Spanish and English. If the children are old enough to get the concept, they can act out the time of day while singing about it. We hold our arms out in the position of 8 o’clock, then straight above our heads for 12 o’clock, then pointing down towards the ground for 6:30.

    Dear Boca Beth,
I love the You Tube videos. I really enjoy your energy. You were just here in Alabama a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed you. I won a Boca puppet for answering a question correctly. I am already using it. The children love him. Boca only speaks Spanish to the children and he has been teaching them the song “Hello Friend/Hola Amigo”. I have been studying Spanish off and on for awhile now, and now I believe I will continue it full time now. I love the Spanish langauge and my now six year old son told me he wants me to teach him Spanish. If I win this contest, it will really help me teach my son as well as my children in my class. Keep up the good work.

Make sure you go to Friday, April 18th’s post and follow the directions to enter the contest my friend.

And so glad you love what we are sharing here at Boca Beth with music and movement fun for young children in order to jump start their introduction of Spanish and English.
