Research suggests that it is just as easy for a baby, toddler and preschool age child to learn two words for one item as it is to learn only one word!  That is why when you show your child an object you should talk or sing to her about it, let him feel it, make swaying motions back & forth while using the new object and sometimes involve smelling the new object and/or allowing your child to taste it. 

The more we allow learning to take place involving the five senses, the longer the staying-power of the learning!

  This book, though I have never personally read it, looks absolutley wonderful for more animal learning fun in both Spanish and English.  And with it on Amazon.com for only pennies for a used copy, why not order a few bilingual books and save on shipping?!?!

It has been super windy here in Florida the past couple of weeks!  Yesterday was no exception when we took our seven/siete puppets outside to film this YouTube mini lesson from our Boca Beth Program!
